Before I met with Misha Safran, my organizational skills were lacking, and I didn’t finish my schoolwork until the last minute. I had no calendars, or a to-do list of any kind, and that affected my grades. To call Misha a savior is no understatement, because thanks to her, I’ve organized my schoolwork and battled procrastination incredibly effectively. I have an organized to-do list and calendars, which remind me about my obligation to complete my work or just an event that isn’t necessarily related to school. As a result of all of her wonderful coaching, I’ve raised my grades and found a new rhythm to my life that I plan on using for the rest of my time as a student.

I originally reached out to Misha to help my son with some organizational strategies for studying more effectively, avoiding procrastination, creating priorities, and reducing academic stress. She has been extremely helpful in providing my son with clear methods and strategies on how to approach his schoolwork in a way that highlights what is interesting for him and helping him to stay on top of many assignments. He struggled before with turning assignments in on time and knowing how much to study for each topic and test (he was often studying too much or too little). He now has clear goals for his study sessions, he is more organized, and he is able to break up his studying times in ways that are effective and much less anxiety inducing. Misha's positivity is infectious. Misha's sessions were a good start on my journey to learning to live in the here and now, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about what might happen in the future. Misha helped me to learn that sometimes pausing to reflect about how I am feeling right now and addressing those feelings immediately is a helpful practice. Not only are Misha's workshops transformative, they are also filled with joy. The time our team spent with Misha allowed a respite from the difficulties and frustrations imposed by the current pandemic so that we were able to come back with renewed vigor and sense of purpose.
